Why create such a group? This is due to recent cause for concern that many young adults seem to lack the energy and vigor the next generation should have by nature. As such, this program not only aims to develop active people, but also those who would spend their time wisely, while constantly educating and training themselves to be a greater asset to society.
The Linking Book is one of the visions in driving the direction of Myst as we do not want it to be seen only as a cafe, but rather as a location for young adults to meet up and spend their free time together in a constructive environment. Nevertheless, this can only be achieved with the active support of the community around, as Myst will always be an FnB operations supplementing the goal and providing a location for others to meet up.
This program will be powered not by Myst, but by selected active individuals who have the desire and heart to promote, develop and sustain their interests for their community. This may appear in any form, may it be cooking, reading, playing game, sports, collectibles, gadgets, automobiles, fashion, dancing, singing or simply hanging out with old friends, support care groups, community service, and so on so long it is recreational and constructive from our point of view.
Individuals who are interested in heading out and creating their groups under our Interest Group wings may do so by contacting us via Facebook and then meeting us in person, or by simply coming over to the cafe to meet our admins.
